Spring Break only ended a few days ago. Although we opted for a staycation this year, it was one of those weeks that I know will go down in family history as far as family bonding.
There was family bonding during our one night getaway to the Gaylord National.
Where not only did we enjoy ourselves With the Friends from Madagascar, but Principessa also learned to play pool for the very first time in her life, and I was able to sit back and relax with a newspaper and without any schedules .
The week progressed with a mother daughter trip to Mount Vernon and then, a day of mother daughter fun…including Principessa’s very first pedicure. The look on her face as the technician gently scrubbed her feet? Absolutely worth the potential pedicure loving monster that I may have created.
There was gardening (the plants we planted our still alive!).
We finally saw both The Lorax AND The Hunger Games (no, we did not take Principessa to see The Hunger Games).
There was Passover Seder cooking.
I even squeezed a little work time in here and there.
I could not have asked for a better week.
But more importantly that that, we spent a lot of family time together last week. We needed it. Desperately.
And it was good.

Looks and sounds like the perfect week!
That is sweet. Having a good time to your family. I like the picture you’ve shared. Looking forward for more family bonding post.
It sounds like a wonderful time and I love the artsy photos in the post! What app did you use? I must know!
You are too funny! I used both the iphoto app on my ipad and PicMonkey. I kind of love the artsy look.
Looks like you guys had so much fun! And by the way, how did you edit your photos? What is the app called?
Thanks for sharing!

When miles separate you from the ones you love, it can be difficult to stay connected. With advancing technology, stay close even when you live far away from friends and family. Make frequent efforts to bond across the miles with your loved ones..
